A peer I once traveled with was notorious for not only taking every mini-soap, shampoo and mouthwash from his room, but asking his fellow travelers to hand over theirs! It was not until much later that I found out he donated these items to a local homeless shelter. In one second, he went from "cheap bastard" to "what a guy!"
